The role of the Marketing & Communications Coordinator is to plan, coordinate and schedule integrated marketing content and activities in both the local and international markets across all ELK brand channels encompassing; online, social, retail and wholesale.
The objective of this role is to help increase customer engagement, sales and brand equity and streamline workflow from start to finish by coordinating the production process, scheduling and reporting of all marketing activities.
The role is also required to continuously liaise with internal and external parties to ensure the appropriate projection of the brand. As an ELK brand ambassador, key to this role is ensuring that all marketing collateral enhances the brand image and creates a cohesive and engaging brand story.
Your daily responsibility will involve working across all areas of the business to coordinate the production and delivery of engaging and tailored content, events, promotions and communication, fit for purpose and audience. Key to your role is a team focused approach, an organised workflow, a passion for consumer behaviour and digital innovation.
Social Media & Content Production
·Daily planning, content production, copywriting, creative briefing, approvals, uploading and activation of marketing activities and seasonal campaigns on ELK digital, retail and wholesale channels.
·Utilise digital and traditional channels to optimise audience engagement.
·On-brand, accurate and engaging copywriting for all ELK channels including; social media, EDM campaigns, website, brochures, sales information, long and short video content, product labelling, presentations, stakeholder interviews, internal communication and other content as required.
·Create, update and manage the following marketing tools:
1. ELK Marketing & Trade Calendar
2. ELK Communication Planner
3. ELK Social media board
4. ELK Creative briefs
·Liaise with key areas of the business to ensure clear communication and brand cohesion.
·Establish a strong relationship with the ELK sales/wholesale, planning, online and retail teams to understand their marketing needs and integrate into your daily workflow and output.
·Ensure the relevant ELK team members and relevant third parties (Sales Agents, PR Agency etc.) are provided with marketing activity updates.
·Coordinate the development, fulfilment and distribution of all marketing related materials and tools required to support marketing activities including: samples; PR agency needs; requests from media, Sales Agents, wholesalers and charities; influencer engagement; international marketing requirements; online marketing collateral; retail promotional flyers; retail signage as well as event materials.
·Work with the Graphic Designer and Social Media Content Creator to coordinate brand assets and post to the appropriate channel.
·Provide support for e-commerce shoots when the Online Manager is away.
Brand, Retail & Wholesale Event Marketing
·Working with the Retail Event Planner, execute the marketing promotion of all retail-related events across ELK retail, wholesale and third parties.
·For all brand events, take the lead in coordinating the end-to-end workflow including organisation, execution and promotion.
PR, Media & Influencers
·Manage the ELK office PR samples to maximise local media, influencer and social media opportunities.
·Provide the PR Agency with their seasonal PR samples and related collateral including a digital edit of the catalogue and any additional promotional materials.
·Liaise with the PR Agency to ensure they are using and working with the ELK Marketing & Trade Calendar and Communication Planner.
·Coordinate and fulfil media and influencer requests.
·Update the marketing budget invoice tracker and organise payments with the accounts team.
·Share with the accounts team monthly billing information from social media expenses.
·Manage the social media marketing budget and deliver efficient return on investment.
Reports & Insights
·Implement tracking and reporting across campaigns including the creation of customised links to track the success of individual Influencers and media channels.
·Use analytics and reporting to understand how audiences are interacting and engaging with different types of content and adapt and optimise future content accordingly.
·Prepare reports and gather insights for the trade and marketing meetings, management meeting and ROI’s to help inform strategic decision making.
·Work with the Online Manager to develop and cross-reference insights and reports to connect the dots between markets and channels.
·Develop and maintain competitor analysis, gaining a detailed understanding of the retail and customer landscape.
·Report on consumer trends and behaviour and how they may affect ELK brand activities.
·Increased engagement, followers and online traffic.
·On time delivery of brand-enhancing content into the marketplace that maximises sales and brand equity.
·Exceptional attention to detail and copywriting that clearly communicates the ELK brand image and marketing goals.
·Consistent and clear brand narrative across all consumer touch points.
