About the Role
The role involves delivering complex solutions to a wide range of challenges in the live sport, television (TV) broadcast industry. Our existing clients are established sporting industry icons such as the NRL, Australian Rugby Union and the FFA.

Attending live broadcasts as the primary VR Tech at various locations throughout Australia and abroad during weekdays or weekends, given the freedom to be independent in delivering the product on site, setting up computer hardware, in-house VR software and broadcast camera equipment involving a degree of physical labour are all expected of the successful candidate.

Essentials of the Role

  • You have excellent technical aptitude and have been the “go-to” tech fix it person amongst friends and family, comfortable tinkering with computer hardware and technology.
  • When faced with a problem you are a detective and excel in problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • You keep a level head during the hustle and bustle of a live television broadcast with the associated tight time frames and immovable deadlines.
  • You don’t shy away from social interaction. Being able to present yourself and the company professionally, working well and liaising with people of various technical levels when on site is crucial to success.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and absorb information so it makes sense to you and others
  • Have proven experience scripting in Python and Javascript
  • Be an Australian Citizen or Resident, and hold a passport
  • Unrestricted Australian Drivers License and your own vehicle
