Looking for a Functions and Event manager to support our multifaceted business - functions, weddings, corporate experiences.
The Lorne Hotel is situated on the Great Ocoen Road and has long been an iconic venue.
The hotel has a large outdoor beer garden, bistro, accommodation and function spaced. We have also recently incorporated a new restaurant MoVida Lorne (part of the Movida group) a wine bar and provedore.
An opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to assist us with managing and running our events part of our business. This role will entail:
- Managing all events and functions within the venue.
- Managing staff requirements
- Assist with their requirements around their wedding day, birthday function or corporate event
- Working with management to develop new sales strategies
-Working with the chefs around menu requirements
