We are currently seeking to appoint a Home Economist into our fabulous Marketing team at Ferntree Gully. This exciting role will be pivotal in the research, development, delivery and management of all aspects of home economy, recipe production and product training across all Tupperware communication.


Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Conducting training relating to product knowledge, food preparation, cooking, and home organisation through educational programs, demonstrations, discussions and videography.
  • Producing recipe content from concept to commission, through to writing, testing and publishing (including videography).
  • Testing and adapting recipes from worldwide resources for consumer campaigns, recipe books, salesforce incentives and one off campaigns.
  • Providing home economist support to our fabulous sales force conferences supported through live or pre-recorded demos.
  • Testing upcoming regular range and monthly campaign products.
  • Advising the sales force on home management practices, such as budget planning, meal preparation, and energy conservation.
  • Writing, and distributing articles of interest for the sales force.
  • Performing on stage at sales force events, to demonstrate products and recipes.
  • Organising and maintaining our amazing purpose built Tupperware culinary experience centre!

And here’s what we’re ideally looking for:

  • A professionally qualified home economist/chef with proven experience creating recipes and cookery guides at a professional level.
  • Previous experience developing and delivering training materials.
  • Proven experience working with editorial teams in the production of digital content and creating recipe content for video.
  • A can-do attitude with an outgoing personality and the ability to build strong relationships amongst colleagues and our sales force.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • A genuine passion for, and prior experience working with, our fantastic products.
  • A network of contacts within the food writing industry would be advantageous.
