Mörk Chocolate seeks an account Manager for our Sydney office, looking after our NSW/ACT stockists and growing our presence in the market.

Are you a passionate hospitality gun? Are you good at establishing and maintaining relationships?  Are you motivated and seeking a new challenge?

Melbourne-based specialty cacao producer Mörk Chocolate is one of the world's most highly regarded drinking chocolate brands, and as we continue our push into Sydney we are now looking for a dedicated account manager to grow our presence further.

The ideal candidate will come from within Sydney's specialty coffee scene, with a strong hospitality network at their fingertips.  Preferably you would have a background in account management or a similar role, although the coffee knowledge is a must.

You will be expected to manage and administrate all of our NSW/ACT accounts, host product tastings with potential new accounts, as well as delivering orders and managing a small local inventory.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identifying new opportunities for business and relationships within the hospitality scene
  • increasing sales, while delivering quality outcomes
  • Facilitating product tastings with potential customers
  • Managing Xero, including invoicing and expense management
  • Building rapport with baristas and cafe owners
  • Taking part in industry events
  • Utilising and maintaining CRM/management platforms as requested
  • Providing product training and information to existing accounts
  • Ensuring that quality control is being maintained within each client's venue 
  • Providing any ongoing customer support

Requirements

  • Driver’s licence
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Passionate interest in aspects of the hospitality industry 
  • Entrepreneurial vision

 

The role has an immediate start, and great salary package. Induction involves one week of training in Melbourne, with flights and accomodation paid.
