The western suburbs premier entertainment venue is looking for  an experienced hospitality professional to lead our Bistro Team.

Located in Caroline Springs, WestWaters Hotel & Entertainment Complex is an award winning multi-faceted venue incorporating The Mercure Melbourne Caroline Springs, an a la carte Bistro, Café, Sports Bar and function facilities.

 

The successful applicant will be an energetic industry professional who is able to lead and manage the Bistro Team in providing food and beverage service excellence whilst demonstrating the following:

  • Proven success in a hospitality management role- restaurant or similar background
  • Have excellent presentation and communication skills
  • A keen eye to attention to detail
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Ability to professionally supervise, train and direct staff
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster based around the needs of the business
  • Current RSA is required with RSF highly desirable.

 

As a full time Manager you some of the duties you will be required to perform include:

  • Hiring and Training new staff
  • Office and Admin duties including financials
  • Manage safety and security systems
  • Stock and ordering
  • Shift Managemen
  • Reporting to Directors
  • Menu Development in consultation with the Head Chef

 

We are looking for applicants with the right attitude and at least 2 years’ experience and a relevant formal qualification.
