HIGH-END DESIGNER FURNITURE SHOWROOM CONSULTANT, MELBOURNE

THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and talented full-time Residential Showroom Consultant to join our Melbourne team. You would be working with high-end contemporary designer furniture in our beautifully designed showroom in the heart of Melbourne. We are looking for a well presented individual with a keen eye for design and appreciation of luxury products.

 

You would be responsible for:

  • Achieving sales targets
  • Assisting in the growth of the District retail business
  • Providing exceptional customer service to both high-end retail clients and interior designers
  • Building strong relationships with Interior Designers & Stylists
  • Building strong relationships with fabric suppliers and maintaining a sample library
  • Promoting District and the brands we represent with a high level of professionalism
  • Preparing showroom for presentation, meetings and events when required
  • Collaborating with the Design Coordinator with showroom merchandising and ensuring showroom is always kept to the highest standard
  • Showroom administrative duties
  • Keeping up to date with industry and supplier knowledge

 

You would have:

  • Proven track record of sales and customer service experience within a high-end furniture or lighting showroom
  • Great presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage easily with others
  • Focus on quality, with a great work ethic and high attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills and competencies with MS office, POS systems (CAD and Adobe CS would be desirable but not a must)
  • A positive and pro-active approach and be a team player
  • Passion for furniture, interiors and people

 

You might have:

  • Interior Design qualifications or experience in Visual Merchandising

 

This role is full time including one day of weekend work.
