Park Street Pasta & Wine is searching for an Assistant Venue Manager & Wine Buyer to develop our mostly Italian list and provide leadership, training, shift management and support to our dedicated front of house team.
About the role:
Park Street Pasta & Wine is looking for an experienced Assistant Venue Manager & Wine Buyer to lead its team of dedicated hospitality professionals. The right candidate will extrude a hospitable and people focused personality, whilst possessing strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. Established wine knowledge concerning mainly Italian regions and varietals is a must and existing supplier relationships within the Melbourne wine industry is preferred.

Led by Executive Chef, Angus Cadden, PSPW pays homage to the Italian traditions of 'fatto a mano,' or, 'pasta made by hand.' Our menu features seasonal rotating dishes inspired by the twenty regions of Italy, whilst celebrating the finest produce available to us from Victoria and beyond.

Preferred skills & experience:
At least 4 years experience in a local hospitality management role.
WSET Level 3 preferred, but not essential.
Competency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, along with other standard admin skills.
Strong English written and verbal skills.
In depth knowledge of POS systems, preferably IMPOS.
