We are in the process of opening our third wine bar and restaurant location in Melbourne from California and are currently assembling our starting team.
Le Plonc is not another wine bar where food is an afterthought; exceptional food is central to our offering and you will have the support of gourmand owners whose underlying philosophy is "come for the wine, stay for the food".
Responsibilities will include:
- cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance with standards set by the Head Chef.
- ability to work with little to no supervision, while maintaining food quality and presentation.
- stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the line.
- food preparation and portioning prior to service.
- maintaining a clean and sanitary work enviornment.
Perks will include, among other things, free staff meals and, for the right candidates, an opportunity to train and work in Le Plonc's international sister locations.
About the Company:
Founded in Silicon Valley, we are a wine bar and restaurant group looking to shake up the way wine is served. Think sophisticated, but not stuffy. Modern, but not stark. Approachable, but not too casual. A place where noone is rushing you. A place where you are as at home reading a book in the corner table, as you are with a group of friends celebrating a special occasion. A place where you come for the wine and stay for the food. This is our first foray into the Australian market and we consider this Armadale flagship location the most important. If you are interested in a position with significant potential for growth and you are smart, hard working, flexible and adaptable, then we would love to hear from you.
Armadale's plush and bespoke wine bar, 'Le Plonc' at James Said, seeks a savvy and outgoing professional with a penchant for charming guests to join its front of house team. If you are interested in a rare position working for an international hospitality brand in Melbourne, then we would love to hear from you. Check us out at: www.leplonc.com
