ClimateWorks Australia is an expert, independent adviser, committed to helping Australia and Asia Pacific transition to net zero emissions. It was co-founded through a partnership between Monash University and The Myer Foundation and works within the Monash Sustainable Development Institute.
We are seeking a self-driven and enthusiastic individual to join us as an Engagement Coordinator within the Cities and Policy team.
The Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for a range of project coordination tasks with a focus on stakeholder engagement and communications for the new Net Zero Pledge Tracker project.
The Engagement Coordinator will have a substantial role in planning, coordinating and undertaking engagement with key stakeholders across our target audience and generate and disseminate communications materials based on project findings. The Engagement Coordinator will be expected to present in a clear and compelling manner to a variety of audiences, especially businesses, policy makers and influencers in person and via webinars.
To work in this environment, the Engagement Coordinator will have good writing skills, the understanding of how to use data to tell a story and the ability to interact with, influence and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders at senior levels.
