As Program host for The School of Life's public program in Sydney, you will often be the first point of contact for our audience at our classes & events, helping to make them feel welcome and settled.
The School of Life (TSOL) is dedicated to exploring good ideas for everyday living. We use philosophy, culture and wisdom from through the ages to help us live wisely and well. By developing emotional intelligence through the help of culture, we address such issues as how to find fulfilling work, how to master the art of relationships, how to understand one’s past, how to achieve calm and how better to understand the world.
The Sydney Classroom Host is responsible for hosting and managing the delivery of classes and events that run most commonly out of our classroom at 111 Flinders Street, Surry Hills. Most of the program elements and timetabling are arranged in advance by the TSOL Public Program team; the program host is present to ensure all program elements come together on event day, and represent the face of the programming team to participants. The Program Host is responsible for all hospitality tasks, ensuring that the experience for students, event staff and content presenters is as smooth, easy and enjoyable as possible.
