Primo has an exciting opportunity for a people focussed Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. Located in Westgarth Northcote, Primo is a cozy and vibrant Italian restaurant with a strong community ethos. We also recently achieved our Gluten Free Accreditation with Coeliac Australia.

The successful applicant must posess the following:

  • at least 3 years Managerial or similar experience 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - to liaise and communicate with staff and customers
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent management and leadership skills
  • Keen understanding of food and beverage operations
  • Problem solving skills - being able to think on their feet to come up with resolutions
  • A keen eye and attention to detail is critical

Key Responsibilities :

  • To manage and motivate the restaurant team
  • Coordinate F.O.H. staff roster
  • Monitor and meet budget goals and forecasts
  • Maintain stock levels
  • Record and manage all financial transactions
  • Ensure facilities comply with Health and Safety regulations
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Create and manage events within the restaurant
  • Manage a simple social media strategy
  • Lead the hiring and training of all FOH staff
  • Interact with customers and other businesses in the community.
