We're looking for someone who can oversee a team of Food & Beverage Attendants and co-ordinate daily operations across the Resort F&B function, focusing on our flagship restaurant, Number One, serving up modern Australian cuisine.

RACV Torquay Resort is one of the most spectacular resorts in regional Victoria. The resort boasts state of the art accommodation, a day spa, gymnasium, swimming pool, an 18-hole golf course and, an array of dining and bar facilities with designed for purpose conference and event facilities. 

A day in the life

As a leader, you’ll support the Restaurant Manager to drive and manage the Front of House team, ensuring, continued to growth and delivery of an exceptional level of service to our members and guests. This is a hands-on position where you’ll work on the floor, be involved in the recruitment of new staff, coordinate rosters and have input on the F&B business plan.

The position will be based in our flagship restaurant, Number One as well as Harding's Lounge. If you are an awesome leader with a charismatic personality, then we want YOU to lead our team of passionate F&B Attendants.

We’re looking for…

  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within a 4-5* a-la-carte restaurant environment.
  • Extensive food, wine & beverage knowledge.
  • A genuine love of the hospitality industry.
  • Good business acumen and proven experience with forecasting & cost control.
  • Strong leadership skills to achieve a positive working culture.
  • A hands-on approach to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Availability and flexibility to work across a 7-day roster. 
  • A current Victorian RSA certificate.
