We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at Etta.
You are an experienced Sous Chef with 3 years in a similar position. You have worked as a strong leader in a small team and assisted in the day to day running of the kitchen including stock management, food safety and hygeine and rostering.
Food wise, you are interested in working with quality produce, fermentation, charcuterie in a casual dining enviornment. You are experinced with modern cookery and confident in cooking over fire... we do alot of that!
You have an acute attention to detail and you understand the relationship between the flow of food from the kitchen and the vibe and pace of the dining room.

What once was an old fish-and-chip shop has become our home, here in Brunswick East. These days, things are a little different…but fish is still on the menu! We are looking for a passionate Sous with prior experience to help manage the kitchen on the day to day, maintain a high standard at all times and help assist with the creative process.
