Bottega is a busy, CBD restaurant serving modern Italian food at the top end of Bourke Street. Operating for over 20 years, we have a strong culture of food and wine and are committed to hospitality.

We need a Restaurant Manager to lead our bright FOH team who love food, wine and genuine service. We constantly strive to improve the food and wine culture in the dining room and we need a hands-on Manager to help continue the growth.

At Bottega we have an intimate dining room with cosy booths, window seating plus the addition of beautiful and flexible private dining rooms that overlook the hustle and bustle of Bourke Street. With our strong function business, you will have the support of a dedicated events team.

To be successful in this role, the desired candidate will need:

  • Previous experience as a Manager/Supervisor/Head Waiter
  • The ability to drive your team to deliver excellent customer service
  • A solid knowledge of restaurant operations
  • Exceptional communication and presentation
  • To demonstrate a pro-active and hands on approach to leadership
  • Experience with management of staff hiring and labour costs
  • To liaise with the director to achieve financial targets
