The Russell Street address is set to be a classic and timeless restaurant and bar, reminiscent of a grand European dining room - familiar, decadent and nostalgic. The 1920s-era art deco building will house an elegant space that is made for long lunches, meaningful conversations and big celebrations.
The design by Sydney’s ACME is inviting and comfortable, with rich and tactile finishes of leather, linen, marble and brass. There is a range of seating – from high stools in the bar, a booth for two, or a generous private room for special occasions. It is a traditional and sophisticated restaurant that welcomes excess and a touch of extravagance.
The menu embraces the confidence of Italian regional cooking, classic elements of French technique, flavours of Spain and the hearty comfort dishes from the British Isles. The traditional à la carte structure remains flexible enough to enjoy a starter as a side or share a selection of appetisers over a drink. One menu features throughout the entire venue.
The cocktail bar anchors the heart of the restaurant with clean, classic cocktails and exciting new beverage offerings.
Our wine list feels like it was decades in the making and will feature a broad collection of wines from around the world. Be they classic regions, benchmark producers or new discoveries, the focus is on wines of place and provenance.
The restaurant and bar will be open 6 days a week for lunch & dinner, providing ultimate flexibility for rostering and availability.
