Barista

Maverick is a new brunch venue in the heart of Melbourne. Aside from brunch classics, the menu includes speciality coffee, a select cocktail, wine and beer offering and sweets.

The barista will:

• Prepare consistent, high quality, specialty coffee in a fast paced environment
• Focus on building relationships with customers
• Open and close the espresso bar, including cleaning procedures
• Prepare and serve a small cocktail, beer and wine offering
• Work autonomously and in a team
• Communicate clearly with FOH staff
• Work in a clean manner

 Applicants must have experience in:

• Use of specialty coffee
• La Marzocco Linea 
• Use and maintenance of mythos, mazzer and EK grinders
• Preparation of alternative brew methods: specifically cold drip and batch brew
• Work in a fast paced environment
• Use of point of sale systems
• RSA essential
