Roastery Manager

We’re looking for a Roastery Manager to lead our Roastery team in Sydney.

Our Roastery, based in Zetland, is the heart of our business and the crew who run it are responsible for the roasting and distribution of coffee to our customers. They are well trained, hardworking, love coffee and pride themselves in what they do. 

We are seeking someone with proven experience in operations and distribution management in a warehouse capacity. Maintaining an inspiring leadership style that develops, supports and motivates our Roastery team is also critical for this role. Ideally, you will have proven experience in managing roasting and quality assurance operations.

You'll want to make a positive difference through your work, always be open to listening and learning, passionate about what you do and enjoy being part of the community that surrounds our coffee.

Being a strong communicator and well-considered thinker who naturally simplifies rather than complicates carries a lot of weight around here. Being focused on creating a safe working environment, being organised, delegating and being hands-on are all vital to this role.

This position is also a critical part of our broader team in Australia and globally, so the ability to communicate effectively in a professional and sincere way is important.
