The Made in the Shade group is looking for a passionate and experienced Venue Manager to lead a small, strong and dedicated team at The Everleigh.

The Made In The Shade Group unites venues and services owned and operated by Michael and Zara Madrusan: The Everleigh, Heartbreaker, Navy Strength Ice Co., The Everleigh Bottling Co., Connie's Pizza and Bar Margaux.
Every Made in the Shade venue or product is born out of a desire to break new ground in Australia's hospitality scene and define standards of service. Role and Requirements
We are looking for a hands-on leader, adequately qualified to nurture, discipline and drive an aspirational and growing team. The successful applicant will be an all-round hospitality professional, both inside and outside the venue, with the drive to becoming an influential figure within the Made in the Shade Group and the industry.
A minimum of 5 years in the industry with 2 years at management level in a similar style venue is required for this role. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of, and appreciation for cocktails and spirits, and a passion for service. They will be confident, organised, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. They will also be experienced in all facets of venue operations including menu costing, stock control and labour management.
The Venue Manager will report to and work closely with the Group Operations Manager in weekly meetings, quarterly appraisals and bi-annual strategy sessions. The role will be further supported by the entire Made in the Shade Senior Leadership team, as well as additional internal and external resources such as HR, business mentors and PR to assist in growth and success both personally and for the venue.
