This role will include co-ordination of reservations and events across venues in both Melbourne and Sydney from initial enquiry and guest communication, planning and execution within our thriving and expanding hospitality company.

The Speakeasy Group is a growing hospitality company comprising of venues in both Melbourne and Sydney with an expansive and established event offering and reputation for exceeding guest expectations on every level. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Events and Reservations Coordinator to expand and grow within a dedicated team of hospitality professionals while working in a fast paced, exciting environment. Please note this role is based out of Melbourne Head Office.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • High organisation skills with close attention to detail
  • Genuine passion for and previous experience in the hospitality industry
  • Customer service driven focus with a legitimate eagerness to satisfy guests needs including an urgency to respond to enquiries and communication
  • Friendly and professional phone manner and the ability to recall information quickly for clients and enquiries
  • Excellent written communication skills including emails and reporting
  • Ability to work autonomously while communicating with venues and management across multiple venues
  • Basic knowledge of social media and marketing
  • Confidence in navigating Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience in reservation software including but not limited to Guest Centre
  • Willingness to perform in a team environment including flexibility in tasks required and support to other departments of the group
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Honest and transparent work ethic
