Our Head Chefs are the driving force behind the success of our restaurants. We are looking for an inspired Head Chef who has passion for great italian food and a creative flair to develop unique dishes and delicate flavors.  We want an experienced people manager, a team player & team builder. Someone who leads from the front and inspires their staff around them to work hard while thoroughly enjoying their day to day work. 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop, test and perfect the Menu
• Recruit, hire & onboard Kitchen Staff
• Set, manage & be accountable for kitchen Staff wages
• Organise staff rostering and ensure cost efficient team management
• Adhere to & meet revenue targets 
• Drive a positive work environment and staff culture
• Conduct regular stocktakes, reporting & stock management 
• Write & Cost menu with a system called cooking the books.
• Must contain Food safety supervisor cert and be able to maintain and develop food safety compliance of venue

Experience: 

• 3+ Years as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
• Knowledge and experience in fresh pasta making 
• Used Deputy software (or a similar rostering tool) 
• Cooking the books program beneficial
• Experience in hand stretching pizza making.
