East Elevation is looking for a weddings and functions coordinator. The successful applicant will need to liaise with prospective customers, help them through the process of organising an unforgettable event and coordinating with the venue manager the set-up and smooth running of the event.
The Role
We are looking for a Wedding/Functions Sales / Coordinator with a proven experience. The job will involve liasing with customers from the initial point of contact up to the completion of the event. You will discuss with customers and guide them through the process of choosing the style of function, selecting the food and beverage options, planning the venue's lay-out and seating and schedule the event timelines. You will report, coordinate and collaborate with the venue's manager.
We are after a very well presented professional with good interpersonal as well as organisational skills and a great sense of style.
Requirements
4+ years of hospitality experience in a managerial role
4+ years’ experience managing small and large functions in the hospitality industry.
Experience liaising with clients
Excellent communication skills & very well presented
A sound Food and Beverage knowledge
Reliable and impeccable time management skills
Someone who is hardworking and with a strong work ethic
