Restaurant Manager

Fuelled with a truckload of passion, decades of hospitality experience and at least five too many beers, Huxtaburger burst onto the Melbourne hospitality scene in 2011.

From day one, Huxtaburger has served up epic burgers - with quality ingredients and a slathering sauce - paired with an ice cold brew and a minimum of 6 napkins to clean up the mess.

We are looking for an experienced restaurant/business manager to look after our burger bar. The role entails full ownership of day-to-day operations, sales, people and profitability.  

Some of the things which would make you a standout candidate:

• Experience in a similar role, in either a hospitality, retail or entertainment space (advantageous)
• Experience in floor and/or kitchen management, leading a service; executing 100% standards around quality, service and cleanliness
• Experience managing labour and food cost, or exposure to P&L's (advantageous)
• Understand the importance of pre-shifts, peak hours, non-peak hours and pre-close procedures
• Confidence in giving team feedback and consistent coaching 
• Ability to roll out national marketing campaigns as well as create local area campaigns 
• Have a flair for customer service and engagement, more importantly though, being able to coach your team the same high standards
• Ability to roll with the punches and apply a can do approach when faced with problems
• Have confidence, character and a commitment to continuous improvement
