We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated hospitality professional with great beverage knowledge, specializing in cocktails and quality service to join our passionate team. The multi-faceted role will enable you to flourish and further develop your skills in a venue that is unlike any other in Melbourne.
Working across all 3 unique floors, Transit Rooftop Bar, Taxi Kitchen & Transport Public Bar, this full-time role offers the opportunity to express your creativity and flare for innovation by developing and delivering all things cocktail related across all 3 levels. Working closely with the front of house management team to build an exceptional customer service driven environment, serving up amazing food and delicious drinks that are on point!
The right individual will be a leader, a great team player, career driven and motivated with proven experience in a beverage wizardry.
Extensive knowledge of cocktail, spirits, wine, and beer and what is on trend.
Ability to innovate and create cocktails.
Can work in a high paced venue whilst upholding excellent service standards.
Have a good understanding of food and pairing with beverage.
Excellent interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and confidently to make your own decisions.
Teamwork skills, ability to lead by example and set a high level of standards.
Delegate and follow up effectively.
Ability to cope under pressure and solve problems as they arise
Create cocktail menus and beverage specials for all 3 levels, working closely with managers to develop all beverage lists and offers.
Staff training on beverage making, presentation and tasting notes.
Staff and shift supervision
Working closely with senior management team develop and carry out company goals.
Rostering, stock control and cellar management
Cash handling and end of day processes
