National Account Manager [Sales]

The Made in the Shade group, a progressive and diverse hospitality group known for its commitment to quality venues (The Everleigh, Heartbreaker, Bar Margaux) and products and services (The Everleigh Bottling Co. and Navy Strength Ice Co.) is now searching for a dynamic and achievement-driven sales professional to take the lead across the products and services division.

Founded in 2015, Navy Strength Ice Co. was Australia's first hand-cut ice company, now supplying Melbourne bars and restaurants with crystal clear ice blocks designed to fit each drink.

Similarly founded in 2015, The Everleigh Bottling Co. was created to provide those who love The Everleigh with the opportunity to enjoy their favourite classic cocktails at home, with friends and on the go. The mission was simple; to manufacture cocktails to the exact same standard of those ordered over The Everleigh bar without compromise.

Do you have a solid sales reputation and a passion for food and beverage? In this role, you will ultimately be responsible for the commercial outcomes for the Made in the Shade Products and Services portfolio. This will include the generation of new business and maintenance of all wholesale and retail relationships with the aim of increasing sales across the business.

You will use your skills to manage current customers and pitch new opportunities, developing strong long-term business relationships with key account stakeholders.

Key Selections Criteria

  • Business and/or related degree (preferred, not essential)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Key/National Account Manager or Sales Manager within the FMCG industry
  • Demonstrates well developed key management and leadership competencies including Achievement; Business acumen; Command skills; Communication; Critical thinking; Interpersonal sensitivity; Negotiation; Numerically minded; Resilience and Strategic agility
  • Marketing experience (preferred, not essential)
  • Well organised, articulate, efficient and effective
  • Well presented and detail orientated
  • Keen interest in progressive food and beverage products and experience
  • Friendly, humble and welcoming disposition
  • Highly driven and ambitious, with a solid work ethic and 'can do' approach
  • Confidence working autonomously
  • Is trusted and respected within the industry.

• Sales Plan, implementation and monitoring
• Business Development
• Customer relationships
• Finance management
