About the opportunity

Reporting to our Senior Partner and with support from the wider client services team, your goal is to generate opportunities in new accounts and assist existing accounts grow where appropriate.  

As such, you play an integral role to identify, qualify, pursue and win strategic new business. A key aspect of your role will be to leverage your inner detecting - spending time researching potential clients, identifying key people within those accounts and working with others to create strategies to approach and engage with them.  Your goal is to identify where IE can help customers solve problems and therefore generate sales opportunities for IE.  This role presents an amazing opportunity for you to learn or continue to grow your fundamental sales skills in preparation for an exciting and prosperous career. 

  • Identify growth opportunities and proactively pursue new clients
  • Anticipate market patterns, develop scalable strategies and repeatable processes that enable IE to win new business
  • Manage approaches, follow ups and tracking of new business leads
  • Push boundaries, take chances and get creative with your sales strategy
  • Confidently build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the digital and tech industry + landscape

 

Who you are

Either with a background in customer relationships, service or sales - or you’re interested in creating a new sales opportunity with a dynamic consulting organisation.

We are really open to the ideal candidate but it’s important you can confidently demonstrate the following

  • Natural curiosity - always asking ‘why’ and wanting to understand more
  • Question asking - ability to ask questions that probe the situation, clarify the impact and uncover any thoughts of the future solutions
  • Listening skills - not just actively listening, but truly being in the moment
  • Relationship building - not feeling uncomfortable in reaching out to unknown people, and revel in the joy of building a new long term relationship
  • You are tenacious and goal oriented - a plus if you have proven experience in business development, sales or account management
  • You are confident in helping your customers solve their problems
  • You are dependable and have a strong sales acumen - pipeline, reporting and contract negotiation
  • You have exceptional communication skills both written and presenting
  • You feel confident in engaging with senior business executives
