Foodshot Marketing Agency is looking for a full time, experienced digital marketer to promote restaurants and hospitality businesses in Victoria and WA.

The company

Foodshot is a marketing agency just for the hospitality industry.

We started in 2018 and whilst we're still very much a start-up, we're vastly experienced with over 100 active clients and growing fast.

We have an established office in Sydney, but a strong foothold in Melbourne, and we're looking to expand our Melbourne team.

We work across all the key digital channels including website design, SEO, social media, photography, email marketing and more.

In addtion to our agency model, we have also founded the Foodshot Foundation - a charitable organisation that helps support a variety of food related causes including emergency food hampers and women in shelters programs. 


The role

Work with some of Australia's best venues delivering exceptional digital campaigns that drive revenue, brand loyalty and awareness. Use your detailed marketing knowledge to grow a brand on social, drive loyalty through email, earn visibility with SEO and wow your clients with overall brand cohesion and direction.

This is a newly created role, to add to our existing Melbourne team, and manage a portfolio of clients in Victoria.

You'll be accountable for the successful delivery and reporting for each client, ably supported by design and technical teams. 

You'll receive an abundance of training and critical feedback without being micromanaged.


Your credentials

Our number one 'must have' is to be positive person. Our culture thrives on the positivity each team member brings to work each day. 

You'll need to be able to work smartly across the digital landscape, from writing food puns to installing a Facebook pixel. You'll already posses a wide range of skills and will be eager to learn more - which aligns with one of our key objectives - to continue to improve.

Ideally, you will have;

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a restaurant marketer or role within a marketing agency
  • Advanced knowledge of Facebook paid advertising, email & sms marketing, website content, social media and events.
  • Experience with restaurant public relations an advantage

Beyond your relevant experience, you will be intelligent, articulate and precise. 

As marketers, we understand that nothing happens unless we make it happen, and we're looking for a ‘make it happen’ type of person.


Tasks & responsibilities

  • Creating and sending newsletters via Mailchimp, Talkbox & Myguestlist
  • Facebook and Instagram management
  • Paid social media advertising
  • Pixel and audience management
  • On-site SEO
  • Google My Business & Maps
  • Event concepts and marketing
  • Brand development and strategy
  • Manage freelancers & photography
  • Creating direct to camera video reports (gasp!!)



We're outcome focused which offers some flexibility. We don't check the activity log, we don't mind if you have a dentist appointment at 2pm and when you're on holiday, you're on holiday!

In return, we expect commitment to the role and to be accountable. We don't hide behind fluffy marketing reports and it's clear when things are not done.

This will be a difficult and challenging role where success is by no means guaranteed.

The recruitment process will include at least two rounds of interviews, detailed reference checks and aptitude testing. 


The pay

As a Senior Restaurant Marketer your starting salary will be $90k base ($75k for non-senior) + super + $12k performance bonus and uncapped commission potential (although no sales involved).
