About the role:

You will be predominantly responsible for outbound telesales and client management in the Sydney market. Being Scout’s representative in the Sydney office, sitting with the Broadsheet team, you will need to be able to work autonomously and self-motivate, with some help from the team in Melbourne and Brisbane. This role is critical to the growth and success of the business and we need someone who enjoys going after targets. With a hunger for achieving results, the Sales Executive will bring energy, passion and the ability to build strong relationships with key customers.

Reporting to the Sales Manager you will contribute to Scout’s success by:

  • Managing the end-to-end sales process including outbound calling, building and maintaining relationships, reporting and billing
  • Managing your clients' requests with regular check-ins
  • Assisting with the growth of Scout through creative brainstorming sessions 
  • Responding to initial direct sales enquiries as well as job seeker enquiries
  • Attending face-to-face client meetings if needed 
  • Building and maintaining relationships with employers
  • Completing basic administration duties

To be considered for this role:

  • 1 year previous sales experience minimum
  • Hunger to achieve sales KPIs.
  • Previous use of a CRM platform (desirable)
  • Professional and friendly phone manner
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve
  • Team player – someone who can work hard and still have a laugh
