Commis Chef

This new restaurant ‘Yakikami’ is newly created by Wagyu Ya group. We are a successful company who is serving the very best of Japanese Wagyu. As our business is expanding, we need the right candidates to join our team.

We are looking for Commis Chefs to join our team to deliver a great dining experience. You will be driven and genuinely passionate about cooking. This is an amazing opportunity to start your Japanese charcoal culinary journey in the industry. Immerse yourself in the kitchen of the future, both culinarily and culturally.

Candidate Must Have:

• Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience in a commercial kitchen
• Ability to effectively follow instructions and absorb new information
• Good communication and immaculate presentation
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
• Team player and display a positive attitude
• Understanding of Food Safety and OH&S

This is a full-time position that will require flexibility and weekend work, your shifts and may comprise of a combination of day and night shifts in accordance with business demands.
