Welcome to The Farmers Arms Daylesford

We are an iconic country pub, located in the beautiful and vibrant town of Daylesford (only an hour and twenty minutes from Melbourne). We are surrounded by fantastic, local produce and nestled in the fabulous Macedon wine region, offering some of the best food and wine in Regional Victoria.

But we are more than just your usual pub - offering elevated pub fare, great local beer and wines and professional, friendly and memorable service.

We’re looking for an experienced Sous Chef or Chef de Partie to join our creative Chef team.

This role is a full-time position over a four-day week (Monday to Thursday). Meals and accommodation are all provided, so you can spend half your week in the beautiful countryside and have every weekend in the city – the best of both worlds!

 This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for the next step in their career or even find new place to call home.

To Be Considered For This Role You Must Have

• a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role or restaurant
• a clear understanding of how flavours should be balanced
• the ability to take pride in all plating and presentation
• excellent communication skills
• the ability to think on your feet
• a genuine passion for the industry
• Kitchen management experience a bonus
