With a family-friendly bistro seating 140, a public bar, live music focus and a small accommodation offering, The Westernport is located in the thriving tourist destination of San Remo - the gateway to Phillip Island.
We are currently looking for an experienced Head Chef to join the existing team in the kitchen, serving quality produce focussing on good quality, seasonal produce and exceptional pub fare.

Ideally the successful applicant will:
- Have experience in a high volume environment.
- Have experience with managing KPIs.
- Have experience managing teams.
- Be self-motivated and organised.
- Be level-headed and calm under pressure.
- Be passionate about good quality produce. Ideally you'll be excited about developing relationships with local farmers, fishermen, and artisan producers.
- Want to make a mark, and be motivated to put this venue 'on the map'.
Please note, this is a HANDS-ON role. The successful applicant will need the skills to manage large numbers in summer and also the seasonal lows of winter.
