We are on the hunt for an experienced Senior Chef to join our welcoming and friendly team. Working alongside our Executive Chef and kitchen team in planning, prepping and executing function & bistro service.
The position is full-time (over 5 days – approx. 38-45 hours) with an annual salary. The roster is rotating around the events and day-to-day bookings but is fair and reasonable. We are happy to be as flexible as possible for the right candidate, however ideally, we are looking for someone who is available WED-SUN.
We are a busy bistro, restaurant and award-winning function venue that currently operates 6-days a week TUES - SUN (lunch and dinner). We will be opening up to 7-day trading at the end of November.
Functions range from Weddings to corporate and everything in between. Canape style events and set menus (served a la carte) for up to 130pax + lunch and dinner service in the bistro.
The successful candidate will work alongside and shadow our Executive Chef, coach and mentor junior colleagues and ensure the end product is in line with the Executive Chef's vision. Will keep communication clear and concise with colleagues and proprietors at all times and have a positive "can-do" attitude towards all.
You must be confident and comfortable in leading a kitchen.
Minimum 2-years experience in a similar role (preferably "hatted" experience).
