Seeking experienced Casual Duty Manager for multi-faceted, iconic High Street venue!

About us;
We’re a monster of a venue! With a huge public bar and beer garden, Australia’s biggest licensed retro arcade and 2 separate, popular function spaces, we’re ramping up ready for our best summer yet. We’re a long standing destination venue that runs frequent festivals and is a go-to for North Side summer hangs.
Your role;
As a DM you’ll be leading our crew during service, working alongside the GM and VM to deliver outstanding guest experiences and ensuring the team is nailing it every time.
Key responsibilities;
-Quality of service : Leading the team to ensure consistent and quality guest experiences
-Venue standards : Ensuring the satisfactory delivery of hygiene and service standards
-People Management : Assisting with the selection of new employees and the ongoing training of all line staff. Ensuring the balance between productivity and staff morale
-Sales and profitability : Pushing sales and ensuring good management of controllable costs on shift
-Staff morale : Ensuring our crew are healthy, happy, and having a great time while they’re with us!
Qualifications:
-Experience running teams in fast pace hospitality environments
-Exceptional leadership skills with a people focused attitude
-Pro-active organisational and time management skills
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with both guests and the team
-Excellent attention to detail in both venue upkeep and service standards
-Current and valid RSA
-Tech savvy enough to implement day-to-day use of operational systems
