We already have a well established kitchen team. Wednesday to Sunday Roster. Freedom to create weekly specials and menu design. Mr & Mrs P is owned by Georgia & Greg, long standing hospitality professionals who have been in the industry over 20 years. We believe in always developing and evolving our business. This venue is our passion, and we surround ourself with employees that share the same drive and work ethic. We feel that this venue encompassess a family environment, and we strive to nurture and support each individual in achieving their goals. The venue is renowned for service and quality of food and beverages, and has a loyal customer base. The ideal candidate will be stepping into a kitchen team filled with realible, honest, and hard-working peers. It is a small team of four, and we are seeking someone that can be a positive leader and handle stressful situations with logic and calm. We get extremely busy for service on weekends, and we also play host to functions regularly througout the year. In addition to this we host several different events, such as "Meet the Winemaker" where we shift from our usual share plate menu to a four course degustation. Creativity and high organisational skills is a must. Well established and highly regarded venue Great working conditions 2 consecutive days off (Mon + Tues) Open at 4pm everyday except Sat (Midday) Passion and a genuine love for the industry a must Must be able to lead by example Be a great mix of professional yet fun Be proficient in managing labour and COG's, and hitting targets Previous experience in a high volume venue preffered Must have 5+ years as a qualified chef Must be able to drive and execute events/ideas to increase revenue Paid for all hours worked above regular salary The salary is negotiable, and is dependant on experience and skill level. More than anything, we are looking for someone who has morals, values and a strong work ethic. You will be supported with as little or as much support as you need as you take on this role. We are looking to expand our venue portfolio in the future, and are looking for someone who is after longevity in their position, and wants to grow with us.
