General Manager

About the Role

You'll take the lead in the day-to-day operations of the venue, working closely with the head chef to deliver an exceptional experience from the kitchen to the floor. Key responsibilities include: 

• Overseeing all aspects of service and floor operations
• Leading, mentoring, and inspiring a close-knit front-of-house team
• Managing reservations, events, and customer relationships
• Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff to maintain consistency and quality
• Handling budgets, rostering, stock control, and supplier relationships
• Driving revenue growth while maintaining a relaxed, high-quality guest experience

About You 

You're a confident, hands-on leader who loves good food, great wine, and creating a welcoming environment. You're adaptable, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven venue.

You'll bring:

• Proven management experience in a restaurant or wine bar
• A genuine appreciation for seasonal European cuisine
• Strong wine knowledge, ideally with a passion for a diverse portfolio from low-intervention producers
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• A positive attitude and team-focused mindset
• Current RSA and relevant compliance certificates
