Casual FOH

Key Responsibilities: 

• Customer Service: Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude, assist them with menu choices, and ensure they have a positive experience from start to finish. 

• Order Taking and Processing: Accurately take and process customer orders, ensuring that orders are communicated clearly to the kitchen and barista team. 

• Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner. Ensure all items are presented beautifully and in line with Café Lewi’s standards. 

• Table Management: Set up and clear tables, assist in maintaining an organised dining area, and ensure a comfortable environment for customers. 

• Cash Handling: Process payments using the cash register, handle cash and credit transactions accurately, and provide change as necessary. 

• Cleaning and Organising: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dining area, ensure high standards of cleanliness are upheld throughout the shift. 

• Customer Feedback: Address customer questions, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally. Escalate any issues to the Café Owner if needed. 

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and barista team to ensure smooth communication and efficient service. Help other staff members as required. 

• Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety practices and maintaining a clean and safe environment. 

• RSA service. Be able to obtain or already have an RSA for serving alcohol and alcohol beverages.
