CAPI Sparkling is a young and dynamic FMCG brand that produces a range of mineral waters, mixers, and fruit sodas. Operating from the national head office in Melbourne, the role is responsible for producing all product and brand related graphic design and creative imagery for Capi Sparkling.

You will be part of an intimate in-house marketing team consisting of 4 marketing coordinators, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager. Being part of small team means you will have a very active and impactful role in this business.

 

The primary objectives of this role are to:

  • Update and refine all product packaging designs in line with brand strategy
  • Design all sales, POS and other marketing collateral in line with sales and marketing requirements
  • Continually generate and maintain a library of digital content including photographs, graphic designs and other creative media for a range of channels including website, EDMs and social media
  • Providing creative direction and input for any marketing events, campaigns and initiatives

 

Qualifications

  • Tertiary Degree in Graphic Design/Photography or related field

 

Experience and Competencies (essential)

  • Proven track record in meeting design briefs to a high standard
  • Proven experience in working with Adobe CS and related design and editing software
  • Styling for photoshoots, photography and editing experience

 

Key Responsibilities

Product Packaging

  • Ensuring that the branding, design, labelling and packaging of our range of products are innovative, impactful and consistent so as to help achieve our sales and marketing objectives
  • Completing all design briefs from the Brand Coordinator as required from ‘mock up’ stage to print
  • If required, effectively engaging with external designers to manage all creative design elements and artwork

Sales Support

  • Ensuring that the branding and design of all sales presentations, POS materials and other sales and marketing collateral are on-brand, innovative, impactful and consistent so as to help achieve our sales and marketing objectives
  • Completing all design briefs from the Brand Coordinator as required
  • If required, effectively engaging with external designers to manage all creative design elements and artwork

Digital Content

  • Organising, styling, shooting and editing all photo shoots in line with marketing strategy and key content pillars
  • Completing all design briefs from the Brand Coordinator and Digital Marketing Coordinator
  • Ensuring that website and other online platform design elements are on-brand and visually engaging
  • As required, collaborating with other creative contractors including photographers, videographers, designers, stylists, etc for larger marketing campaigns, events and projects

Creative Direction

  • Leading the marketing team in creative ideation, researching trends, market drivers, competitor analysis and building creative storyboards as required
  • Providing high quality design concepts for all briefs
  • Providing creative direction for marketing events (e.g. installation and booth design) and advertising campaigns

Key Performance Indicators

  • Ensuring that all product packaging in the market are in line with the overall brand strategy and well-positioned in the market to meet the demand of our target consumers
  • Effectively supporting our Sales Team by ensuring all POS, sales presentations and other collateral are well designed and engaging.
  • Generating sufficient high-quality creative content (edited photos and other creative imagery and media) to meet our digital strategic objectives
  • Ensuring brand look and feel is consistent across all marketing channels, and is evolving ahead of trends.
