Vasse Felix was established in 1967 and is Margaret River’s founding wine Estate. Margaret River experiences the unique combination of a Mediterranean climate, maritime influence and ancient gravel-loam soils making it ideal for growing Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.

The Estate is one of the country’s draw-card winery destinations with the Vasse Felix Restaurant offering a beautiful setting to indulge in regional flavours, textures and creative cuisine.

The Estate’s contemporary Tasting Bar and Wine Lounge offer casual wine tastings, wine by the glass or bottle along with charcuterie and cheese boards. Our Estate experiences immerse guests in the history of the region, providing an in-depth view of the Vasse Felix winemaking process.

Birthed by Vasse Felix, Idée Fixe is a new dedicated Blanc de Blancs house, located in the south of Margaret River. Sparkling winemaking has been a quiet obsession of Vasse Felix winemakers since 1985 and our Margaret River Blanc de Blancs is only getting better, for having its own fully-equipped space and focus.

The Idée Fixe Vineyard is located in Karridale, in the deep south of Margaret River. Constantly exposed to the biting cold winds of the Southern Ocean, this cloudy and humid site and its unique pockets of quartz lends itself to the elegant, expressive Chardonnay of a distinctly Margaret River Blanc de Blancs.
