Ekam Australia Pty Ltd ATF Saini & Saini Family Trust trading as Kings Curry Hut abn: 56 940 581 467 located on 10/250 Telegraph Rd, Bracken Ridge QLD 4017  are seeking to employee a full-time Chef in restaurant  

We are a busy restaurant and require a fulltime Chef immediately

Applicants must hold the relevant qualifications/ experience :

·         AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)

·         Have at least 1 year of full-time work experience in the nominated occupation

·         SALARY OFFERED BETWEEN $79500+ 12.% super.

Applicants are required to undertake the below duties and responsibilities:

·         Plan menus with Restaurant Manager, including daily specials, menus for functions, special occasions, or catering (if required).

·         Demonstrate cooking techniques and assign cooking duties to kitchen staff. Discuss and resolve the food complaints efficiently with the kitchen and wait staff.

·         Prepare and cook food according to the menu and meeting special dietary requirements, including sauces, desserts, etc.

·         Estimate product requirement and costs for following day and on weekly basis. Ensure appropriate regulatory licences are up to date ie Food Safety Supervisor.

·         Arrange for the input of invoices for inventory and stock control. Supervise and prepare roster for the kitchen staff. Monitor all stages of preparation and presentation of

the dishes.

·         Ensure food prepared in the kitchen is of highest possible quality and standards. Proper check and maintenance of all kitchen equipment and regular audits of temperature controlled facilities.

·         Regulating temperatures on ovens, grills and other cooking equipment in the

kitchen. Has a full operational knowledge of all recipes, standards, portion sizes and presentation style of dishes produced within the kitchen.

·         Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients. Ensure and enforce the health and safety standards are maintained in the kitchen
