Bennetts Jazz Club is the phoenix that has risen from the ashes of Bennetts Lane Jazz Club which sadly closed its doors on Monday 15th June 2015. Though we can't replace it, we can take up the mantle of being the world's best jazz club by updating, developing and exploring the possibilities of quality live jazz performance experiences in Melbourne. We are currently working to re-open the original site of Bennetts Lane Jazz Club whilst building our new home in Flinders Lane which will be ready early next year. Megg Evans, manager of the original club for 23 years, is helping raise the new venue and is dedicated to presenting and promoting live jazz as a significant art form for all to enjoy and learn from.
