Since joining Melbourne’s inner west bar scene in 2009, Dig a Pony brings inner-city Melbourne style and cred to Yarraville. Boasting a relaxed and casual fine dining atmosphere, Dig a Pony’s inspired decor of rustic dining chairs, art lighting and recycled timber floors inject a modern feel to the old world charm of the renowned historic bluestone building (formerly The Yarraville Hotel circa 1890).

Friendly and attentive service and cool musical grooves keeps it all down-to-earth. When the sun goes down, enjoy a glass of locally produced craft beer or international wine from the world’s best wine-growing regions. A fabulous selection of cocktails is also available.

Dig A Pony's Dining Room has been transformed with it's culinary team creating a modern take on classic European dishes, with Head Chef Kim Young injecting his own brand of Asian inspiration. Served in small bites, small plates and large plates, the menu is diverse and always interesting. Vegetarian and Vegan options abound with salads and vegetable dishes, while Cavemen are catered for with a fine Charcuterie selection and the indulgent Chef's Selection degustation menu. Each Thursday, we experiment with new dishes to be created and tested for our new menu, forming a special 3-course mid-week dinner menu where quality meets exceptional value.
