Featuring the latest in espresso equipment, latte-art competitions and a whole bar dedicated to Espresso Martinis.
The Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE), the biggest coffee expo in the Southern Hemisphere, is coming to the Melbourne Showgrounds on March 30 and 1 April.\r\n\r\nMICE 2017 will welcome more than 120 exhibitors, featuring the latest in espresso equipment, brewing devices, exotic and expensive coffee beans, roasting equipment, and more. \r\n\r\nThe event is expected to attract around 10,000 cafe owners, roasters, baristas, equipment manufacturers and service providers. \r\n\r\nProgram highlights include a number of competitions including the Australian Latte Art Championship, the Australian Brewers Cup and the Australian Barista Championship. These prestigious events attract regional barista winners from across the country, vying for the top prize. The winner of each event will go on to represent Australia on the world stage in their respective events in Seoul and Budapest.\r\n\r\nParticipants can also engage in a three-day schedule of Specialty Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE) accredited training and education. The SCAE Coffee Diploma system modules will provide registered attendees with a comprehensive overview of some of the industry\u2019s key skills in barista, sensory, green coffee, and brewing.\r\n\r\nThe event is not only for industry professionals.
