About Carlotta: This spring, restaurateur Chris Lucas will introduce Canberra to Carlotta, a brand-new concept in the heart of the nation's capital. Carlotta, a 120-seat Mediterranean restaurant, is set to celebrate the exceptional produce, wine, and talent of the region.

About the Opportunity: We are looking for the industry’s finest chefs to join our opening team in Canberra. Opportunities available:

• Executive Chef
• Head Chef
• Sous Chef
• Chef de Partie

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

• Chef experience in a premium a-la-carte restaurant
• Experience with Mediterranean cuisine is advantageous
• Management candidates must have solid understanding of management practices and financial budgets/targets
• Exemplary leadership with focus on staff development
• Demonstrated experience in leading a high-performing team
• Highly adaptable and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
• Solid understanding of food safety standards
• Proven ability in building effective relationships
• Organisational and time management skills
• Experience using Deputy (or similar Time & Attendance system), H&L, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent communication and presentation
• Able and willing to work weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts
• Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
