This spring, restaurateur Chris Lucas will introduce Canberra to Carlotta, a brand-new concept in the heart of the nation's capital. Carlotta, a 120-seat Mediterranean restaurant, is set to celebrate the exceptional produce, wine, and talent of the region.

About the Opportunity:
We are looking for Pastry Chefs to join our opening team. Assist the Head Chef with the day-to-day operations of the dessert section. You will be responsible for ensuring that your section of the kitchen operates to optimum efficiency. You will be an enthusiastic and a highly energetic hospitality professional.

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Pastry Chef in an a-la-carte restaurant
  • Certificate IV in Patisserie or equivalent experience highly regarded
  • Resilient and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
  • Strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Outgoing personality and genuine interest in the day-to-day operations
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Calm and composed demeanour
  • Able and willing to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts
