Section Waiter - Shell House

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking highly motivated Section Waiters to join our multiple outlet venue in Shell House. With different opportunities across The Dining Room and Terrace, The Menzies Bar and Bistro and Sky Bar. 
   
With some of The Industries leading professionals at the helm of each venue, this is an exciting opportunity to further your career and be amongst a dynamic and established hospitality space.  

The venue trades from Monday to Saturday only, so Sundays are always yours to spend relaxing. Being a 6 day operation, working hours can be flexible. We are offering 25-35 hours on a casual basis. 
   
THE VENUE

Spread over three levels, Shell House is an unparalleled hospitality experience in the Sydney CBD, combining both indoor and outdoor settings over 1,250 sqm of space. This includes a ground floor bar Menzies Bar, The Dining Room and Terrace and the Clocktower Bar on level 9 and Sky Bar on Level 10.

Shell House is an adventure. We curate a complete experience - amazing food, great drinks served in space that is award winning in design that has a lively and engaging atmosphere. Importantly, we are all about service and guest engagement. 
  
ABOUT YOU

• You want to be part of a vibrant and friendly team, who support each other to consistently deliver a high level of guest expectations and service.
• You have an understanding of order of service and can execute this to a superior standard. 
• You have a good understanding of wine or have recognised training such as WSET or similar.
• You have an interest in product and have extensive product knowledge.
• You have had at least 5 years’ experience as a section waiter in a similar establishment  
• You enjoy curating experiences for guests and are able to develop relationships with guests. 
• You are highly organized and ensure guest experience is a priority.
