Retail Sales Assistant

PLUMP Organic Grocery is a boutique organic health food store established over 20 years ago located in Yarraville Village.

We believe in the importance of supporting our local community, Australian businesses, as well as the biodynamic and organic food industry.

• Providing exceptional customer service and assisting our customers with product enquiries and providing knowledgeable recommendations
• Operating the POS system and transacting sales
• Restocking shelves and maintaining a clean, organised store environment
• Unpacking deliveries, lifting heavy boxes, marking off invoices, and rotating stock
• Supporting team members throughout the shift

• Experience in a similar business
• A strong understanding of and a passion for food, health, sustainability and organics, or the enthusiasm to learn
• Weekend availability and flexibility to work 3-4 days per week and/or some shorter shifts
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Punctuality, reliability, and a proactive, hands-on approach
• Someone with initiative, energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to meet the physical demands of the role
