This spring, restaurateur Chris Lucas will introduce Canberra to Carlotta, a brand-new concept in the heart of the nation's capital. Carlotta, a 120-seat Mediterranean restaurant, is set to celebrate the exceptional produce, wine, and talent of the region.

About the Opportunity:
We are looking for Chefs de Partie to join our opening team at Carlotta. Ensure the overall operation of your allocated section runs smoothly and effectively. Train Commis Chefs and ensuring quality and consistency of products. 

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:
  • Experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-end restaurant
  • Mediterranean cuisine experience highly regarded
  • Strong culinary skills with an eye for detail and a passion for quality
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure
  • Team oriented and strong communication skills
  • A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Eye for detail and strong time management
  • Knowledge food safety standards
  • Genuine interest in the day-to-day operations
  • Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Availability to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts
