Racket Agency is a Melbourne-based marketing agency specialising in turning business goals into marketing strategies that drive sales outcomes.
We are looking for a freelance web designer to assist with website projects, working closely with our project manager and creative director to create user-focused, conversion-optimised websites.
This role is project-based, and we’re looking for someone with at least three days of availability per week. Previous agency experience is preferred, as we need someone comfortable working to deadlines and maintaining an efficient workflow with the project manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Create wireframes, mockups, and design concepts, ensuring responsive design across different devices.
- Focus on usability and navigation to enhance user experience.
- Implement brand guidelines into website design, including colour palettes and typography.
- Provide rationale for design choices and incorporate feedback through rounds of revisions.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of typography, colour, and design principles for branding.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices for intuitive navigation and engagement.
- Strong portfolio showcasing web design projects.
- Ability to design responsive websites that adapt to different screen sizes.
- Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field is preferred.
