Long Table Farm is seeking a Chef de Partie to support our growing farm-to-fork conferencing and events program.
7am - 4pm conference catering, including breakfasts, morning tea, working lunches, afternoon tea, grazing tables, and occasional dinners. You will work with seasonal farm produce in a stunning setting
This role is focused primarily on conference catering, including breakfast, morning tea, working lunches, afternoon tea, delegate packages, grazing tables, shared feasts and occasional dinner events. You will work closely with the senior kitchen team to prepare seasonal, generous and well-executed food that reflects the Long Table Farm ethos: paddock-to-plate produce, simple cooking, strong flavours and a genuine sense of hospitality.
The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, highly organised, confident with prep and service, and comfortable working across both volume production and detailed event execution. You will help maintain consistency, cleanliness, food safety standards and smooth kitchen systems across busy conferencing days.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and executing conference menus to a high standard
Managing prep lists, mise en place and section organisation
Supporting breakfast, lunch, grazing and dinner services
Working with seasonal farm produce and house-made components
Maintaining food safety, cleaning and HACCP procedures
Assisting with ordering, stock rotation and wastage control
Supporting the wider restaurant, wedding and events kitchen as required
