Get your hospitality workmates together and compete for prizes, an engraved trophy and bragging rights. Plus, each entrant gets a merch pack.
Preston’s gigantic bar and bowling venue The Keys is launching a Monday night bowling league for hospo workers. Teams of five (of all skill levels) will compete each week for a range of prizes, including a $200 venue voucher, a take-home team trophy and the immortalisation of having your team name etched onto The Keys’ in-house trophy. There’ll also be a $100 3 Ravens Brewery voucher for the bowler with the highest individual average.
There’ll be cheap pints and cocktail specials all night, with teams playing 2 games each week. It’s a great chance to unwind, meet some industry peers and, most importantly, gain some bragging rights over your restaurant rivals.
Entrants will also get a merch pack with a league score pin, sports bag, drink bottle, bowler towel and an iron-on patch. The league will run every Monday for eight weeks, beginning on May 1. The entry fee is $1200 per team, which works out to $30 per week per person. There’ll be a 6.30 pm and 8 pm league.
